Excellent interview on an important subject. Appreciate the effort to tease out the elements: regional bias, caricaturing, laziness, poorly conducted research, worn down narratives put before actual thought, respectful debate and the responsibility to report in such a way as to be a check on power. Journalism: what it was, is and could be, needs to be carefully examined and discussed. Thank you for the conversation and bringing attention to what appears to be a timely book.

Great interview. The media bias is one of those things where once you are aware of it you can’t unsee it. It’s so prevalent in our age. Clicks definitely sell ad revenue, so the more salacious a headline the better.
