Would be nice to see the D13 TC engine running on LNG here in North America

You only pointed out the advantage enviromentally. How about performance wise? How it will perform on 540, 560, 600, 700, 720hp engines? Does it have more power output than diesel? You also said that it has lower consumption? On what engine range? Too many unanswered question about performance

I'm not an expert but keeping LNG at ~ -140C requires HUGE amount of eletricity . Soooo... you solve a problem but at the same time creating an other. I don't think small family run gas stations could afford to maintain LNG in its cryogenic form all the time, while Diesel doesn't require any treatment

Isn't the methane in LNG more harmful for the environment than carbon dioxide?

There’s nothing environmentally friendly about LNG. Just stop the tailpipe pollution and make electric vehicles

It feels very odd of Volvo to start with a new fossil fuel instead of moving away from all of them. I'm honestly dissapointed.

This is dumb. I drive trucks and I can say. The future is electric, the problem is battery charging. How one could charge a battery without stopping?Easy, induction. The roads could have induction coils embedded, and charge every vehicle like in the Whippeout game. Those were ahead.
