Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding in Southeast Asia

This Session of the Discussion Series has the objective to reflect upon two sub-themes:
1) Best practices of complimentary efforts between government and non-government actors practices.
The discussion will seek to understand the gaps or challenges found in such effort and how the two sides complement one another in closing the gaps, overcoming the challenges, and at the same time, assist in channelling each of their objectives.
2) The growing dynamic between government and non-government actor where government and non-government actors collaborate in the effort to resolve conflicts and build peace.
This Sub-theme aims to discuss contemporary trends or development at global or regional level that may elevate the dynamic between government and non-government actors.
