I for one, welcome our new overlord.
You should try mixing up the colours a bit man. Try green, or yellow, orange or even blue as the base blaster/prop colour. Or if not the primary, add it as a secondary or decal colour. Many scifi props do! A lot use white as well haha

Have you tried filling the large gaps in your props with expansion foam then carving off the excess with a razor knife? It saves time and money when applying bondo to seal the open celled surfaces.
