The zega line is great, they come in handy on certain trips, it really depends on the type of ride you're doing, right now I am using soft bags and sometimes I switch to the zega line for security, but I will say they are built very well.

Hard cases are hands down the way to go. Some people talk about the (minor) danger surrounding hard cases BUT there are so many benefits on a daily basis on the road. Being able to have your gear locked on the bike during border crossings or even lunch is huge! I think there is no One "Do-All" Best Luggage Option. It all depends on the riding, rider, and the bike. Like all things having to do with Motorcycling, we're all different, we all need different things, we all consider different things more important.
Hard Luggage has the benefit of being lockable which is great when you wanna go for a hike in a National Park or leave your bike parked in an urban setting, but Soft Luggage are often a more Lightweight option which tends to equate to better handling off-road.

great for around town- but we call them "leg snappers" when you use them off road (speaking from experience). Long distance/ road travel hard panniers win all day. ADV/ off-roading you cant beat the safety of soft luggage. Plus your stuff wont rattle around.

I have the less expensive Zega Mundo on my 2015 Tiger. They are identicle just don't have the plastic protection. Ive used mine for everything they showed in this video also a beer cooler and step stool and able to hold the bike under the forks or swing arm when changing tires. Only problem is I stick out like a sore thumb in NW PA because everyone around here rides Harleys. I also use the bag inserts for grocery shopping. no more plastic bags.
