Oh, it has been a while since we've seen Lex do something like this. I am gonna try an MRE one day myself as I know where to get them over here but I see the civilian ration pack doesn't have the chemical heating pack for the main meal part found in the military versions. Seeing shortbread in that pack made me smile for.... reasons.

I like lentils and a good hot lentil soup in a cold day is filling and delicious. Actually I was impressed by the variety in that package. It's food that will be life saving in disaster/war/emergency situations, I'm sure. Actually having some packed away in your car or cabin is not a bad idea, look at all the weather chaos in our supposedly 1st world country, for example.
