Hi, thinking to buy this machine, wondering if it is possible to use one hand only for sewing and the other on the crank, is ti practical?

Well, I have just bought one of these, in very very poor condition. It’s been stored in an open shed for many years with no protection from the elements. According to its serial number, it was made in Scotland on 10 December 1936. I am going to have a go at restoring it. I paid 15 euro for it. It will never be as beautiful as yours, but it deserved better.
