The city of Castellammare di Stabia is part of the province of Naples in the Campania region in southern Italy, it is located halfway between the Sorrento coast and the city of Naples and a few kilometers from the city of Pompeii.
Overlooking the sea, the city is located at the foot of Mount Faito reachable by cable car from the Vesuviana station in the city center. The strategic position makes it an ideal point to visit all the tourist attractions in the southwest of the region and is well connected to reach Naples, Pompeii, the Sorrento coast and the Amalfi coast.
