Sisters Mercedes and Mariah Mata grew up around the lowrider culture, but it wasn't until they got behind the wheel that they went all in.

Now, the sisters help lead regular Dallas Lowrider meetups, and were integral in reclaiming Jefferson Boulevard as a lowrider street. A marker of the car club and their youngest members: Mercedes' glittery pink 1984 Monte Carlo, parked on the corner on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.

Real Mexicans don’t play the lottery, we spend every dime we got on our passion that always gives back to us, thru our love of the past we can pave a road for many years of low riding with the whole FAMILIA in our future, the kids will carry on a tradition of love respect and freedom . Thank you for giving all when others quit. That real life lives on❤
