This is a 5 Day, 4 Night Backpacking Trip in The Maze District of Canyonlands National Park in May, 2017.
We do a figure 8 loop starting from The Maze Overlook, dropping into the South Fork of Horse Canyon where we camped near the spring for night 1.
Day 2 we hike South out of the canyon, then follow the 4x4 road east dropping into Water Canyon.
Day 3 we day hike to the confluence overlook of the Green and Colorado Rivers, followed by camping near Beehive Arch.
Day 4 we hike past the Dollhouse, follow the road North, dropping back into the canyons past the harvest scene and near the trail to hike out.
Day 5 we hike out early and head home.
This place is like no other, and the 4+ hours to simply reach the trail head requires a high clearance 4x4 vehicle and plenty of time. It was an adventure of a lifetime and hope you enjoy this video. Cheers!
