Create World Map Animations in After Effects!

In After Effects import your map. And then select the pen tool.
Turn off fill and turn stoke on.
Then draw out your line that will covers the area you want to highlight.
Then open the shape layer and add trim paths.
Animate the end from 0% to 100%.
And now you can take this opportunity to add other graphics to your animation.
When you’re ready, precompse everything.
Be sure to click continuously rasterize on your new composition.
Now scale and reposition your map. Then keyframe the position of the map to follow the animation of the line.
And that’s how easy is it to create a map animation.
