Don’t get caught up in all these different traditions and things that the Bible doesn’t preach. Just simply follow Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Why would a devil tell him to change his ways and to keep praying the hail Mary. A demon wouldnt want him to change from a life of sin. The story does not make sense
