Then watched and coded along with you to see what I could have optimized. I really like your course. There's so much outdated and just bad PHP courses still nowadays, but yours is other.I'm coming from Java world. In early years (PHP5) that was so easy to write spaghetti code in PHP. PHP has become much better language for several years. I think especially Symfony framework and composer made coding in PHP more robust. I appreciate new features introduced in PHP7.0+. Especially type hints and strict types. These changes has made PHP more similar to Java I, m familiar with. What i don't like still there's no block variable scope. I have question for you. Should i always avoid global variables and functions not associated with any Class writing OOP code nowadays?
