International Week in Amsterdam

Показать описание
Staff from the Omega Aviation Academy attended the International Week of the World (WoW) celebrations held by one of their international aviation partner colleges, MBO College Airport in the Netherlands, from 14-20 November 2022. MBO College Airport is the leading vocational Aviation College in the Netherlands.
WoW week was established to develop student’s international orientation, as well as to increase their intercultural competence - providing them with knowledge, attitudes and skills that enable them to interact successfully with people from diverse (linguistic and cultural) backgrounds.
“The week was amazing!” says Joanna Siotropou, International Office, Omega. “The opening show led by a South American brass band was spectacular and I have never seen such a copious offering of so many cultural activities in one place”.
The week-long programme offered students a plethora of information, workshops and presentations from guest speakers from all over the world and similar events were held simultaneously at other vocational colleges in and around Amsterdam.
“It was an absolute pleasure being able to take part in what we consider to be the only way forward for young people working in our industry”, concluded Joanna.
