Whether you're a fan of Viking accessories yourself or have interests leaning more towards the intrigue of ancient crafts, this creation process of a hand-forged Viking pendant will captivate you.

If you've been searching for custom pieces with symbolic significance, or maybe even thinking about stepping into the realm of creating handmade jewelry, this channel is perfect for your interests. I focus on sharing forging videos with the inspiration drawn from Viking mythology and history.

About me:

Hi! My name is Philip and one of the people behind Lufolk. I have always been interested in the simple things in life. When I look back on history I get inspired and fascinated by the people who came up with all the smart solutions to make our everyday life easier. What you can accomplish with a few tools and great skills is impressive. The first time I got that feeling: I made this! This will be useful! Was when I made a wooden spoon as a kid. And think that was the start, I have ever since been interested in making things.

Very cool, looks like the Drakkar viking ship, known as a long ship.

This is one of my absolute favourites. Det ser så enkelt ut, men det krävs erfarenhet. Jag vet, som relativt nybörjare som försökte göra en från sparkmedar (hög kolhalt) och misslyckades. Jag ska försöka igen med låglegerat.

Hi ! I wonder how you get the smooth look. Do you brush the piece often although it doesn't show on camera ? Maybe it's my hammer work that is not even enough and I leave dips and marks that I can't erase after when I flatten the piece...

From your experience what is important to watch out for to get a smooth enough flat surface like you show in the video ?

Thanks for your time if you answer and thanks anyway for all the videos ! It's really good to see you work as you're quick and precise !
