Light doesnt affect the sensor - it uses IR for gestures so it even works in fully dark environment

hello good sir !
i have uploaded the code to the arduino board, wired the components as shown, everything works as expected but it stops working after a while. If i connect back the board to the computer and open Arduino IDE then it starts working again, what am i doing wrong ?

You rapidly move your hand left and right that's why the motor worked and stopped and again worked and stopped but if you just put your hands stable towards left or towards right will it continuously moving or not
