Here's my full first run of the DLC. I explore as much as I can, complete all bosses, and showcase some of my favourite weapons in the end of the video. I spent like 30 hours on my first run here, but edited down all the random backtracking, multiple hours of boss fails (looking at you messmer, bayle and Radahn). I think the dlc was fun but the scadutree scaling absolutely ruined it for me. I did use summons and mimic tear in some fights early in the dlc when I didn't have enough scadutree fragment blessings, but once I collected enough of them I stopped summoning. Either way, I still enjoyed some of the fights, but repeated bosses and enemies from base game feels like lazy design. 3 ghostflame dragons, 3 pearl drakes, and another dragon similar to lanessax. Bayle was different but the camera and his non stop aggression was annoying as well. The devs just forgot to give many of the bosses a recovery window.

I don't want them to rebalance it tbh. I guess once you get all the scadutree fragments the dlc is much more manageable. Good luck guys! Hope you didn't suffer as much as I did lol. I'm doing another run of the dlc with absolutely no summoning, so once i finish that I'll post it. Enjoy!

The worst part of your gameplay is not using the new boss weapons, spells, Ash of war in the actual gameplay that DLC provided.
