One thing I want to point out is that the comic book miniseries, The Riddler: Year One (which is written by Riddler actor Paul Dano himself, and it kinda got the blessing from Matt Reeves), features a brief mention of Metropolis as seen on a bus ticket, so there’s the possibility that Metropolis exists in this Bat-Verse.

It is quite refreshing that Gunn will not move forward on a project unless the script is finished and the story is solid, whether it be The Batman Part II or a film in the DCU.
