I used to think I had to get the best camera for shooting food, but it didn't use the truth to understand the light. And what the presentation you said, I love this video a lot

Man, you live in a beautiful area. That would inspire me also for those photos with a load of atmosphere. 👍🏻

If you where me, what should I get to start with food photography: the Canon EOS 6D Mark II or the Canon Canon EOS 80D DSLR! I would really appreciate any advice?

Skyler, I've been a huge fan of your channel. Your professionalism motivates me to improve my photography, and I'm very grateful for that. Now, here comes the question: I have the budget for either a Canon 5d mark iv or Sony a7riii, given that I mainly shoot portraits, and only occasionally food photography. Most of the fashion/magazine photographers whose works styles I love (such as you and your works), use or have used Canon at some point. I personally really love the look of Canon. Because I'm not a professional editor or colorist, I can't say how close the photos out of Sony can be matched to the Canon look in other word how much potential they have. On the other hand, the a7riii is just better in pretty much every way except the color science/look which I can clearly tell from most out-of-camera photos. How would you decide between the two, again for portrait and food? Any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks.

What’s the point of resisting? Life is too short.
Satisfy that urge and get that full frame anamorphic lens, that 2x macro lens, that Edelkrone motion system, that Sound Devices Mix Pre recorder, and that Sennheiser ambeo mic.

Let me say this ... It's 2020, I have a Sony A6000, A7riii and. canon T5i ... Took my T5i to a restaurant shoot to take some burger shots to do some photography for them. Let's say you don't need 24mp to make your photos better. IT HELPS but let's face it, on a consumer level not a technical level, the T5i quality is enough, it landed me the job. I'll be making $1, 600+ on this job. Now portfolio wise I will say go ahead and snag at the minimal an a6000. photo to photo wise Getting the more expensive a7 class will not make a difference in this part of the field.
Secondly, you don't need capture one. Your stock imaging edge or Canon EOS tethering app will suffice perfectly. When you're done for the day you can bring it up in lightroom, affinity or ps, whatever you use to get your edits done. All in all, don't think "fixing it in post", get it right the first time IN SHOT so all you have to do is lightly touch areas so you are in and out. Land your shots
