I feel like at least half of his jokes flew RIGHT over the audience's heads. Can't blame him for not doing stand-up anymore if that's the kind of reactions he had to work with 😅

I will say, his very deadpan kind of absurdist humour is maybe not the easiest to follow live, so I guess it wasn't ever really "meant" for stand-up. But he managed to transport it really well and made it work in a way that I would've assumed very hard to pull off. For this style of humour, you usually need someone else there to play off of, and he solved that problem _ingeniously_ by playing off of a recording of himself. Utter brilliance
