Building Inclusive Workplaces | The Grow Remote Show Episode 3

Показать описание
As restrictions lift and offices begin to open, businesses are at the beginning of a new and challenging phase of the remote and hybrid working journey.
There is no doubt that remote and flexible working opens up huge opportunities for employers to build more inclusive workplaces. But it is also becoming clear that without deliberate and intentional planning, companies will face many pitfalls and challenges when it comes to building inclusive workplaces – workplaces where everyone has equal access to opportunity regardless of where they are working from.
For most companies, 2022 will be the year of experimentation as they go through the transformation from in-office to remote and hybrid working. It is critical that we provide opportunities for companies to learn from each other as they put their remote and flexible working plans to the test.
In this session you will hear from Linda Hynes, an expert in Employment Law and partner with Lewis Silkin and from Mags Forrest, who leads the ESB’s award winning ‘Smart Working’ programme. We will discuss the opportunities remote and hybrid working can bring in terms of enabling inclusivity and we will also talk about some of the challenges and pitfalls that employers need to be aware of as they begin to put their post-restrictions plans into action.
You will also hear practical examples from the ESB and other companies on the best practices for building inclusive workplaces in this new world.
