Went to the 2021 90 Mile Yard Sale and brought home new tool, an old Starrett 015 vise.

My neighbor's husband passed last year. I asked her if he left behind a vice by any chance. She gave me this exact same one. I had no idea how much these things were worth so I offered her $40. She said just come pressure wash my patio. I said sold.

Cool vice, and a equally cool price... I must admit I prefer functional restorations... I would go for the steel jaws...

Yeah, that was a good buy at $65. Everyone is looking for Parkers, Reeds, and Wilton bullets, but other brands are much cheaper. I bought a 4" Holland for $100, and love it!

I have Starrett Fourth Edition catalog 27, 1965. There is no utility vise Cat number 015 in that Edition. All of the Utility vices in that edition have removable jaws. I hope that helps. Cheers!

I have the first edition catalog no 27, and there no vise listed in that catalog.
