I would never have thought in a million years to multiply it by 1+cosx/1+cosx. Sometimes its really just hit and miss with these type of questions.

..but I guess, its more easier if you just rationalize the denominator...
i.e. [
=[cscx +cotx]/[csc²x - cot²x]
=cscx+cotx =LHS proved.
[∵csc²x -cot²x = 1]

How did you cancel out the sin x?
Isn’t sinx / sinx^2 = 1/sinx in the same way that 5/5^2 = 1/5.

1/sinx + 1/sinx + cosx/sinx = 2cosecx + cotx

Managed to achieve the question myself after 20-25 mins but thats no big achievement since i cant afford to spend this long in the exam aha
