In this video you will see the Renault RS01 GT3 going flat out on the Nurburgring Nordschleife! The RS01 is powered by the VR38DETT engine from the Nissan GT-R, making 550HP and 601nm of torque. The engine is now also in the middle of the car, unlike the GT-R where it is placed in the front. The car consists of a carbon fiber monocoque, with a steel roll cage and the transmission is a sequential 7-speed box by Sadev. It has Performance Friction carbon breaks 380mm with 6-piston calipers. The suspension set-up is by Öhlin, both front and rear are double wishbone pushrods and custom designed Michelin tires. The car weighs around 1270kg's (2800lbs).
