Imagine all the people who were harassed for getting Chick-Fil-A. Imagine all the people that were attacked when they barred Chick-Fil-A from opening locations. Imagine all the gay people that stood by Chick-Fil-A as they were excommunicated for it. This won't make the people attacking them stop, they will still hate Chick-Fil-A.
The only thing this will do is piss off people that defended them and now begin the boycott.

As a manager of chic fil a for almost a decade, this happened on my vacation and it really pissesbme off. Im not even really that Christian, havent prayed or gone to chruch in years but its sad they buckled to the woke credit scores. Banks using DEI to give out or deny credit lines is straight up against the customers, employees, and investors interests.

Look its very simple. For publically traded companies, the customer is NOT the target market. The investors are the target market. And right now the biggest investment groups have swallowed the woke juice and are chasing ESG investment. Making profit by selling product the customer wants is no longer their business, their business is artificially increasing their net worth by playing the investment meta. This growth is temporary and as a company loses ACTUAL worth through declining profits their worth eventually undergoes a market correction as investors realize how little their investment is ACTUALLY worth (like whats currently happening to tech and media jobs).
