I get it, I don’t blame anyone for not liking this style but I enjoyed my flight sitting in that older style of Upper Class. What’s also cool is that the foot stool can double as a seat and someone can join you for a meal or conversation. I have sat in the next gen A350 seats as well and those are nice too.

This looks like one of their older planes, the A330 300. The herringbone layout is not popular. The newer planes A350 or even the A330neo have the seats facing forwards, not sideways so you can see out of the window.

It’s definitely a vintage style by this point, but it’s by far the best sleep on any flight I’ve ever had.

Yes it’s a “hassle” to get out of seat to change to bed, but I always visit the restroom before sleep anyway, so the fact that I can turn it into a really wide comfortable bed is great. Got a solid 6 hours and they had to wake me up because we were landing 🤷🏻‍♂️ never had that on any other flight

This is misleading, the seats on the opposite windows have a wall, so for privacy pick those seats

The layout here on their 787s is inexplicablly awful. The layout on their A350s and A330s is significantly better.

Never understood that gripe about privacy. Whatever you’re doing on a plane that you need privacy for, stop it!
