Episode 7 looks different...

We just got a preview of Episode 7 of Ahsoka featuring a clip with Ezra & Sabine running away from a gang of raiders!

if this takes up more than 5 minutes i would be annoyed. I really want to see Ezra in action, not drive a speeder caravan whilst Sabine has the aim of a stormtrooper.

Star Wars fandom summed up. They want George Lucas Star Wars but then complain when it's too "cartoonish" or "fantastical" forgetting that Star Wars is bascially one big live action cartoon in Live *Action* inspired by serials Lucas grew up watching or reading along with films ranging from classic Sci Fi to Westerns, WW2, and Japanese films. For the Original Trilogy Return of the Jedi is George Lucas Star Wars at it's peak with the Ewoks and heavy use of puppets and practical aliens for Jabba's Palace. Ahsoka to me is just Rebels in live action so moments like this inspired by what Lucas did in live action is a welcome. I'm starting to think that some Star Wars fans don't actually like George Lucas Star Wars even though they bring up the original trilogy like they didn't have moments like this.

The whole thing feels like a 1980s fun Fantasy adventure film and that's my favourite style of Star Wars media. I adore the Purrgil even though some people think there dumb.... Empire Strikes Back featured the exogorth, a Space Slug that made an asteroid there home. I adore the fun wacky adventures and cool classic inspired creatures that look pulled from a Jim Henson production. I sometime think that there's people (Fandom Menace) out there that don't actually know what Star Wars is at it's core and just create drama around stuff they personally find silly but is just 100% Lucas Star Wars.

Edit: Speaking on the comments and other videos rather than what Elliot brought up in the video about not being what he hoped for in EP7.

I can expect something like the last episode being Thrawn actually managing to escape back to the main galaxy and Ashoka and that have to use the whales again to get back for season 2. Unless they all get marooned there and Season 2 is about Thrawn creating a base whilst Ahsoka and co go around trying to find people to help in the system.
