I would say that in my case... I try to use philosophy to be coherent in my thoughts.
That is, to have as many justified " positions " as it is possible for me to have...
So, I can't say with justification... put into any kind of true premise : An external world exists. This is not to say that an external world doesn't exist, but that I can't justify its existence without being circular in my reasoning...
And... if one is allowed to be circular in this case... isn't circularity allowable in whatever case one chooses?
Isn't this Trivialism/Universal Qualification & defying the Law of Non - Contradiction?
I am probably wrong, lol!

My teacher of Indian philisophy, who is a European native French speaker, student of many languages, and a physicist, says the sense of "cogito" was not "I think, " but "I perceive." Do babies think? Not the the way we define thinking. Does this mean they "aren't?"

There's no common sense. All knowledge is transient and uncertain in the long term. I love this video.

I am an embodied consciousness in which everything appears, including my hands.

Thank you for explaining the obvious. I know people need to hear this. Quite frankly its fun to poke around in the mind and create an argument out of absolutely nothing and see how far it can go. If i wanted to i could debate with you on this and i could get people to believe me via manipulation mixed with .05% truth

Common sense is just the set of prejudices familiar to a culture. If you confine yourself to these prejudices in the way Moore wants to, and just want to explain how you know these prejudices to be true (even before you've questioned whether they are true), you're just confining yourself to the ignorance of your time and age. And since you are refusing to question your prejudices, you are yourself, indeed, ignorant.

I mean, it was "common sense" that the Sun revolved around the Earth at one time. It was "common sense" that Zeus was king of the Gods. Etc.

I can't think of a worse argument than what Moore is saying. It's just stupid and even common sense knows he's ridiculously wrong.
