I was pleased to be part Chorus’s DNC leadership forum this week. We clearly need a legitimate opposition party moving forward, and who runs the organization will play an essential role in shaping our future. @WeAreCHORUS

I feel defeated because I am not seeing Democratic leadership stepping up and fighting back.

We're not just FEELING defeated, we WERE defeated. The dems didn't drop the ball, they threw the game.

It took 4 years to NOT convict a person for a crime committed live on television.
That's either incompetence or intentional.

Defeats come and go, feeling "betrayed" lasts a whole lot longer!

I don’t feel defeated, it’s more like disappointment and embarrassment as an American.

The democratic party, for the most part, has capitulated to the oligarchs. They've already started abandoning swaths of supporters. They're more focused on who maintains internal control of the party, instead of thinking out who is best for the party. They've given up on fighting republicans, oligarchs, broad policies, etc. There's only a few people in the democratic party that are worth anything these days.

Stop reacting to trump and start talking about his failures and his unkept promises. Demand he bring down the cost of things before any thing else.

I think the role of the DNC should be to unify the party. Having everyone on the same page with clear and concise objective moving forward

Like others here, I don't think he won this fair and square. I'm dismayed at how the people who have any power are just acquiescing and rolling over. I'm a student of history. I was born just four years after WWII. We were slow to engage the Axis .. in part due to too many people in politics and business willing to accommodate Hitler.

As a real alternative to the Republicans, the Dems could run on getting money out of politics.
HAHAHAHA Just kidding. We all know that's never gonna happen.

I do NOT feel defeated! I feel we’ve identified where we need to grow to speak louder.

People just dont see the point in voting especially when your vote doesn't count unless you live in a swing state.

It is outrageous to be part of a society in which a significant portion of the population has no moral scruples and enjoys the abuse with which they subjugate others.

One can try to contribute to the direction that society takes, using the power granted by democracy.

When that institution is no longer supported by society, and one is a person with a minimum of morality, it is frustrating and demoralizing.

I just keep waiting for Dems to DO SOMETHING. They need a new playbook for these times. They need to respond in the same way they are being treated.
First thing: none of them should be attending the inauguration. They should be voting ALWAYS together. Take a kesson from maga, they step out, they are gone.
We need to primary those who move to the otber side.
You can't win if you don't start aying your own game.
We people wirked hard for Dems. They need to work harder for us.

*One role I* *_know_* *the DNC takes seriously is fundraising! But, in addition to the DNC, I'm already inundated with requests from DASS, DCCC, DGA, DLCC, Senate Majority PAC, State Party Victory Fund, WISDEMS, 314 Action Find, Tim Walz for Governor, Ossof for U.S. Senate, and Gallego for Arizona.*

Now I'm a New York Dem., supporting everyone, everywhere, that I can afford but, what would make *_ME_* a happy camper, would be getting money out of politics. Big money, grassroots money, all of it. Especially the deluge of insufferable, mud-slinging, name-calling ads. If ads are allowed tell me what *_you, as a candidate_* are going to do and how, not what your opponent has done, or will do....self-positive, not opponent-negative. Basically, rules of civility....if that's even possible anymore.🙁☹😯
