Great explanation of types of bond breaking in organic mechanisms! I also like your recap at beginning of covalent bonding and summary at end. Homolytic fission is definitely the trickier of the two and you explain well why it's less common eg in presence of uv light. Many students struggle with the use of the curly arrows often losing marks for showing wrong direction of arrow or incorrectly showing starting point/end point of electron/electron pair! Since mechanisms are the main focus and source of marks in organic chemistry, you have explained the basic concepts and dealt with common mistakes made by students very well :)
