Makes absolute sense. It got ignored a bit in season 1, but she lost her parents, second dad, brothers, thrown in jail and tortured by the guards for years, saw her sister become a monster all while blaming herself for it….she said it herself, the only thing that was keeping her going was getting back to Powder. Now, she has nothing, and she’s gonna do the only thing where she can feel something or maybe even punish herself for everything.

I love the way arcane writes the fight scenes for their female characters. There’s no elegant swishing or hair flipping or anything like that. It’s raw emotion. Blood. Spit. Screaming. There’s nothing pretty about it. It just feels more real.

And her sexuality and identity isn’t some sort of fake superpower. She just wants to look after the people she loves and cares about…just like the rest of us

1:48 the shattered mirror reminds me of Jinx’s hallucination scene in S1. Both scenes show the unraveling of their mental states and coping mechanisms to their traumas. Vi punches, fights and drinks her way through, while Jinx just sits and embraces the madness taking over. Truly a brilliant parallel!
