Introduction To Dementia: Able To Care Podcast #001

September is Dementia Awareness month and in the first ever episode of the Able To Care Podcast, Andy and Nadine discuss how Dementia affects each part of the brain differently, stigmatisation around the disease and how we can interact with people living with Dementia positively.

Andy has 18 years of experience teaching in and around the care industry, in Elderly, Adult and Childcare settings, is an external trainer for the Alzheimers society and is on the Board of Directors for the institute of conflict management.

Nadine has 8 years of experience working in care homes and is an external trainer for the Alzheimers society, training in care settings for the past 2 years.
