My list
5- skulltulas and golden skulltulas. They are so interesting and I just like them
4- redeads and gidbos because they are so portentouse
3- bulblins
they are good enemies wich reminds me of orcs, they seem to be more intelligent than other enemies and they form whole armies
2- poes and imp poes because they are so mysteriouse, eerie and sinister
1- darknuts because they are so epic and fun to fight. But I think they are way harder than iron knuckles because they are faster and have more skill

One thing I hope Zelda never changes, is not having a set art style. Knowing that each games gives new visuals is something I always look forward too. Even some art styles many dislike I really enjoy.

in a technical way, iron knuckle is a dark nut's equal, but much rare. I wonder, if a mighty darknut and an iron knuckle were to fight, would would win?

I cant tell when stolfos will attack or let the guard down. They are kinda a pain in the ass

i would probably put zelda enemies in three main classes: grunts, captains, and bosses. grunts are your run of the mill enemy that are littered everywhere throughout the game and sometimes get stronger varients as you progress. enemies like stalachilds and keese. captain classes often appear as a temple miniboss then become the new grunts about halfway through the game, such as ww moblin, ww darknut, OoT stalafos, and redead/gibdo. Boss class are one time fights in dungeons, mainly mini-bosses and dungeon masters. if i was rating best enemies, i would disclude bosses due to the one time fight aspect, and pick most from the captain class. Beamos and Armos knights are on the line between grunt and captain, but i prefer a hazzard catigory, as they are more often used as a puzzle aspect than an enemy... i also usually would group darknuts and iron knuckles, as they act as the same enemy and appear when the other is absent. i havent played a zelda game that has both darknuts and iron knuckles unless you choose to name either the red and blue darknuts from zelda 1 as iron knuckles...
