All these videos seem to be for advanced users is there any video from you guys for complete beginners. You guys start and continue to play music without explaining how to even connect with the software or how to get started.

for anyone not able to use the knobs in analog lab make sure u go to the fl chanel setting knob then press the second one ( plug and wheel symbols ) and put midi input port on 10.. fixed

If you haven't given up already if your midi doesn't auto sync click and hold shift and press prog. (the third pad from the left) and make sure its set to Arturia THEN it will automatically map itself.

Frustrating... 2:17 "will automatically recognize Minilab 3 once its connected". I just bought/registered/updated a Arturia Minilab 3, and installed Analog Lab Intro. Analog Lab Intro seems to work; I select instruments, press keys with the mouse, and hear sound. When I do, the Minilab 3 shows which instrument has been selected, but pressing keys on the Minilab 3 does nothing. I've selected 'Arturia' with Shift-Prog but it doesn't move keys/knobs/faders on the Analog Lab screen. UPDATE: you have to go to MIDI Settings in Control as well as in Analog Lab and select Minilab3 MIDI (not the other Minilab3 selections).

Im loving this while my unit is on the way. Just to clarify: Will I be able to record sound from Analog Lab V to my DAW (now BandLab, but Ableton very soon). I mean, it would be just worthless if we couldn't, right? So I'm guessing this is the regular procedure: play stuff in AnalogLab, press REC on the DAW and here ya go... Please confirm?

After one year of almost not using it...I updated all firmwares and software...still having connectivity issues where the unit goes in a "freeze"state and nothing responds....MacBook Air Pro 2018 with all OS updates and patches up-to-date...Running Logic X Pro latest update... very frustrating....

It isn't mentioned in the video, but you need to have installed both 'Arturia Software Center' and 'MIDI Control Center' for it to work as shown.

This is great and all, but maybe you could’ve included the part of the tutorial that you have to go into the Audio Midi settings to set up your Mini lab3 so that you can actually do anything in the software. Make better tutorials

What about Minilab 3 integration with V Collection plugins such as Mini V, CS-80, etc.? Can you control all parameters of these plugins without having to MIDI map them?

My pads do not sound like drums.
For example when I chose ''Sliver Dawn'' in Analog lab, , and hit the drumpads it is only playing lower notes of the piano. Same for any other preset.
I checked the midi controller and update the Firmware,
I tried to change (Shift+pad) from Bank A to Bank B, but it does not change.
Any idea of who to have pads sound like drumpads ?

Be aware that you get Analog Lab Intro and not the Upgraded version which costs an additional $69 to receive the full version :)

Hello! Thank you for this! I have a small question, at min 1.20 when you turn the nob while playing, I have this issue that when I turn one nob while playing or recording the sound gets cut off because the virtual nob starts automatically from 0. Have you ever heard of this or know how it can be fixed?

In the samples, the keys are looped and play multiple notes before hitting the hold button.. which setting is that?
