Put it at 1.5 speed. Just remember, it doesn't affect all the animatronics, but it does affect... one of them.

Story Time:

I first heard this song when I found an old windup toy clock. From then on I couldn’t be separated from it, and I wound it up whenever I could before bedtime. I brought me comfort, and I loved seeing the clock hands spin mechanically around the face.

Time passed and now this song brings back nostalgic but terrifying memories of when I played FNAF 2. The game brought a whole new meaning to that old song I listened to, and for a while I made my parents promise they’d wind the clock up past midnight so the puppet wouldn’t catch me. They obviously didn’t, but it brought me peace of mind considering I was an 8 year old who was scared of everything.

One night however, I woke up because I needed to use the restroom. I quickly realized the time was 5am and the clock wasn’t wound up, I began shouting for my parents to wind the clock up, but they never woke up. I made a mad dash to my bookshelf and grabbed the clock. I ran back to my bed and fiercely wound it under my covers. I kid you not, I wound that thing until it was 6am. Looking back, it was one of the most terrifying experiences I’ve had and I’ll never forget it.

Moral of the story: I have mixed feelings on this song 😅

My grandfather's clock was too tall for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor.
It was taller by half than the old man himself
But it weighed not a pennyweight more.
It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born
And was always his joy and his pride
But it stopped short never to go again
When the old man died.

Ninety years without slumbering, tick tock, tick tock
His life seconds numbering, tick tock, tick tock
But it stopped short never to go again
When the old man died.

In watching its pendulum swing to and fro
Many years he had spent while a boy
And in childhood and manhood the clock seemed to know
And to share both his grief and his joy.
For it struck twenty-four when he entered in the door
With a blooming and beautiful bride
But it stopped short never to go again
When the old man died.

Ninety years without slumbering, tick tock, tick tock
His life seconds numbering, tick tock, tick tock
But it stopped short never to go again
When the old man died.

I hate how everyone is just saying things like: “ThE pUpPeT iS cOmMiNg!” But actually, when this song plays on fnaf 2 it means that you’re safe, and The Puppet is not attacking you.
I mean, let’s just enjoy the music! The music is beautiful by the way.

_(Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fnaf fan and I built 26 pizzerias from fnaf on Minecraft please help me I’m not ok)_

Ninety years without slumbering,
Tick–Tock, Tick–Tock.
His life seconds numbering,
Tick–Tock, Tick–Tock.
But it stopped, short never to go again,
When the old man died.

I love this song. yes, I first heard it in five nights at Freddy's, but it was so, so soothing for me. I love music boxes, even though they make me strangely sad. I have the puppets tune as my morning alarm, and I have your version on my phone too <3 it's so sad...it reminds me of my granddad, who I loved with all my -- ..scuse me.*wipes my eye* he even had a big old clock in the hallway, and a cuckoo clock on the wall that I adored.. not all of us fnaf fans are awful..but I'm quite a bit older than most.. can I be really odd and thank you for making this..? even though it made me cry I feel an overwhelming love swelling in my chest.  ♥

Lyrics:

My grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor
It was taller by half than the old man himself
Though it weighed not a pennyweight more
It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born
And was always his treasure and pride
But it stopped, short never to go again
When the old man died
Ninety years without slumbering
His life seconds numbering
It stopped, short never to go again
When the old man died
My grandfather said that of those he could hire
Not a servant so faithful he found
For it wasted no time and had but one desire
At the close of each week to be wound
And it kept in its place, not a frown upon its face
And its hands never hung by its side
But it stopped short, never to go again
When the old man died
It rang and alarmed in the dead of the night
An alarm that for years had been dumb
And we knew that his spirit was pluming for flight
That his hour for departure had come
Still the clock kept the time with a soft and muffled chime
As we silently stood by his side
But it stopped short, never to go again
When the old man died
Ninety years without slumbering
His life seconds numbering
It stopped short, never to go again
When the old man died

I know this song and all the lyrics thanks to me working at a daycare and me listening to this song on a daily basis with the one year olds and also playing FNAF and singing with the kids 😂
