Here is a sentimental story. My mom who hated old movies. At 93 yrs old started watching Chaplin. She would sit in her chair and laugh in a way I hadn’t heard in years. I could have told her that my sister and I loved Chaplin but she refused to watch as it was silent and black and white “old movies” but I didn’t. She just discovered him at 93! She passed at 95..and I think I was able to find as many Chaplin silent movies as possible for her as she didn’t like watching any movie twice hahaha 😂 I can still hear her cracking up!.
