Predator 44000 PSI 4.2 GPM Pressure Washer 1 Year Review

This has been a pretty requested video so here is the 1 year update on the Predator 44000psi 4.2 gpm pressure washer from Harbor Freight. This is honestly has been a great machine so it thought it was worthy of a review video. If your looking to start a pressure washing business I would highly reccomend you look into this machine.

Ive had mine for a year and it starts on the 2nd pull every time. There's a video of a guy leaving his outside for a year and it still started on the 2nd pull. These are extremely reliable.

Just buy the Predator engine 13hp and put a 5.5gpm pump on it. that's a good way to start. Check and change oil regularly it will run a long time.

Might be a dumb question, but when you reduce the pressure with the variable pressure valve, does it also limit your gallons per minute?

Hey guys - I’m curious what you ran for hoses on the predator machine.

HF claims 4400psi but most hoses I can find are only rated for 4000psi.

Questions...I want to start my own pressure washer side hustle and wondering on one thing..water supply. Do your customers allow you to always use their water spigot? Do any of them expect you to have your own water tank? Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I really want to know what to expect in the coming weeks. I also plan on getting this same setup at HF next week. I'm a full time solo landscaper. Do a little house washing with the Ryobi 3330 psi/2.5 gpm. It is OK but I'm thinking about getting this exact Harbor Fright 4400 PSI/4.4 gpm to do 8 to 10 house washed per month. Can this hit and clean a tall 2 story or 3 story house from the ground up, without having to use a ladder?

So, got this machine and have already done a few jobs with it and if this keeps up may turn this into a business. Thanks for answering my earlier question about the water supply. I have one about the pump. There is that little brass nipple on the pump, just before the hose quick connect. I'm sure it was for downstreaming, as it had a tiny hose and filter on it. I've removed it and added an aftermarket downstream quick connect at the end of the pump. Anyway, I've noticed this little nipple leaks quite a bit after releasing the wand handle. Does your washer do the same? Should that nipple be closed off with a piece of tubing, a screw and hose clamp? Your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
