This was extremely informative, as a teen who just loves binge watching shows, I never thought about the importance of transitions or other effects, it really changes my perspective and well, nothing can make me feel disappointed about Sherlock, it is the still one of the best TV series I've ever seen

Hey hi . U WILL NOT BELIEVE ME ! This lockdown made to watch many web series .. So came across Sherlock . At first I thought of the same thing as u did . The length of the episode. Eventhough I gave a try. And by the end I was more attracted to THE TRANSITIONS !! Even a lay man like myself who knows nothing about transitioning and the skills required was completely smitten with it! Mu favourite transition is in S2 E1, when sherlock is seemingly thrown into bed directly from the crime scene. The bed moving upwards was just marvellous.
I should like to say, BBC sherlock is the best series ever produced till date :)

I agree! sherlock is my absolute favorite show, and the transitions are truly amazing. My favorite is probably when he ducks down and it transitions to the car with the driver.
