I absolutely love wild mustard. Just yesterday I made a wild mustard pesto using leaves, flowers and immature seed pods, flaxseed, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt. It's delicious! I always let it sit in the fridge in a glass jar overnight to mellow the bitterness and sharp spicy flavour. Sometimes I'll use cashew nuts or pine nuts instead of the flaxseed so it's more chunky but all are good. Much love and blessed 🙏

Just curious. Can the roots be eaten? I saw a video from the eat the weeds guy and he was talking about eating the wild radishes which look almost just like the wild mustard. Anyway, was wondering if the roots of the mustard plant are edible… Thanks so much for all of your videos! I bought your book along time ago. You were one of the first "weed eaters" I followed regularly. I love how simple and thorough you are.
