There are many actors and actresses in Hollywood who at some point in their career take a wrong turn and quickly disappear from films with wide distribution. I would like to think of an actress who was a household name in the late nineties and early noughties, but then disappeared and now glimpsed in minor projects.
Starship Troopers, Wild Things, The World Is Not Enough, Blonde and Blonder.

Denise is another in a long list of hot young Hollywood actresses who seemed to not try to advance her acting skills while she was under 35, and relied on her looks and current fame far too much, this is why she was still playing high school girls at 29. Before actresses like her even begin to age they've already been replaced by someone younger. I believe Megan Fox was put in the spot previously held by Denise.
More classically good looking actresses need to take some leaves out of Hellen Mirren's, Uma Thurman's, Kirsten Dunst's, Any Adams' and Jennifer Lawrence's books and keep striving to perfect their trades as opposed to simply capitalizing on their fleeting fame and looks.
