Who was your favourite player to watch growing up?

Zverev: I loved watching highlights of myself when I was younger

Alex de Minaur shaving his head to be like his balding idol is the most de Minaur thing I’ve ever heard. Just pure commitment to the cause. No matter how self-deprecating 😂

Right from the start when I watched my first tennis match, rafa is my favourite. Not one else have giving me the joy and heartattack like Rafa did in his whole career.

I started watching tennis in the 80s and my favorite then was Borg, then it was Ivan Lendl, Stephan Edberg, Boris Becker, Agassi and, for the last 17 years, Nadal!

Nadal's choice of idol is very accurate, we can se a lot of Moya in him as well as the opposite, if you play a tennis video game and you can't find Nadal in it, the closest you will get is Moya, and Rublev's idol is Nadal, all that grit to win and agressive game is very accurate, in fact Rublev wants to be so much like Nadal that sometimes for him it's absolutely difficult to accept defeat, that's a champion DNA.

The fact that they always use Nadal as the opponent to show how good a player is tells you how hard it is to play against Nadal.

I love Felix's answer, Tsonga was a beast, probably the best player to not win a GS in tennis history, was able to beat prime Novak on hard court and prime Roger on grass, also very competitive on clay

Nadal says Carlos Moya and he is not so interested in handshakes with him😂

Zverev: I'll put myself in there maybe. I really looked up to me when I was young.

Jokes aside: I actually liked his answer. You feel he's kind of in love with Roger and his style of play.

Hearing the name of Hicham Arazi as a Moroccan makes me very proud, besides of course Younes El Aynaoui <3

Rublev sounded so sad at 5:31 when talking about Marat's retirement, it was so precious and cute🥰

I like the fact that Nishikori said Arazi, because I used to love watching him play, too.

All the first ones said federer. He's done huge things. Not only for himself but also for others.

I started watching tennis in the early 90's. I loved to watch Agassi, he was clearly the number one for me. Also like to watch Pat Rafter because of his serve and volley game was unique. Kuerten and Rios were also players I followed closely. Later on when Roger started to play I was immeadiately a big fan. No1 makes tennis look so effortless and elegant. I respect Rafa and Djoko aswell but for me there's no question who is the best player of all times. Prime Federer in mid to late 2000's was untouchable, clearly the most dominant player ever and seemingly he didnt even had to try 99% of the games. He raised the level of tennis to where it is now, im not sure whether Djoko and Rafa would have became this good if they didnt have Roger there to overtake.

So glad Wawrinka and Nishikori mentioned Rafter and Arazi. I always enjoyed watching them play
