Random sculpt, part 1. Creating a Armature

This is a quick sculpting demonstration where I make a random figure sculpture (bust) using foil tape and a 50/50 mixture of Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey Firm. Its mainly just for fun while I'm waiting on some clay to get here. I hope you enjoy this, and part 2 is already filmed.
I'm waiting on some Premo White to get here so I figured why not do something while I wait? This is going to be a quick little sculpting exercise (I wouldn't really call it a video series, but thats about how this will be uploaded) I sat down the other night and went at it for over 3 hours and made it pretty FAR if you ask me?! I was REALLY "in the grove" but had to stop (to edit what I had and share it with you guys) You see, I could very well just sculpt the WHOLE THING while filming, then go back and upload a video every few days or less.... but that wouldn't be including you guys in the series very much. Your comments are fun to read and the feedback is priceless.. So its a constant balance of sculpting, filming, and editing. A balance that always needs working on honestly.
Doing a video (making them) takes a lot and I notice I don't get very much done, or at least not a whole lot at one time because of it.. its a trade-off I suppose. But to be honest I can become 100 times MORE successful as a upcoming YouTube Sensation then I could ever with just selling random art.. So, because of that, YouTube (which is you guys) will always come first. This is actually a struggle with me at times cause at some points I want to just move faster and I can't because the filming and editing won't allow it. ...but I watch this youtube channel grow and GROW!! Maybe in the future I can do video series AND make something off camera for just show and tell.. but I really do want to show everything I do lol. Sorry for being so slow guys. And thank you for sharing the channel and turning all my dreams a reality..

Let me know what you think? And I'm on Facebook,

Your skills are so awesome. :) I made some Day of the Dead inspired flat skull pendants today. I wasn't too impressed with how they ended up but at the same time I realized they were not so bad either. LOL. I chalked it up to practice. I have 3 more flat blank skulls to work on so I hope at least one of those comes out really great. :)

For some reason I'm seeing a few rows of black spines on its back.  I've always felt that the core of your sculptures looked a bit flimsy, so thumbs up for the screws.

You're the best sculpting teacher on youtube! I have a question, where do you get these blocks of wood?

Hey love your work!  Do you happen to know how well this clay would hold up outside in a garden?  I had an idea of putting them on top of Garden Art things like stacked clay pots or wine bottles.  =)

Hehe ... The shape of it makes me think of Roger the Alien from American Dad cartoon. Maybe you can make Roger. ;D
