$100 Luxury Ferry Suite in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Manila to Cebu City

I took a ferry boat from Manila to Cebu City, and decided to splurge a bit and purchase the "Luxury Suite."

I spent 36 hours onboard this ship, between the cafeteria and my hotel room mostly. My suite package came with three separate meals, so naturally I had to indulge. I also made good use of their snack bars, and managed to sneak some snacks of my own on board.

Along the way I managed to get some great views of islands and the ports along the way. The ship was a tad bit late, so I had to find some creative ways to kill some time.

The most good thing in your vlog is that no matter what happen, you always say nice instead of saying negative things. Keep up the good work bro!

Thank you so much for this video, it was an eye opener for me. My wife is from Manila And has talked about taking a ferry, but I didn't know you could actually sleep on one. It's like a little cruise ship.

Your a very nice guy, so polite with a pleasant demeanor, and not fuzzy just embrace, cool, and positive. Have a wonderful time in my country.

Wow, finally hitting the islands. Taking the ferry was a great decision. But the beautiful Cebu airport is also worth seeing. So maybe take the plane when you head back to Manila. But hope you go to Bohol first.
Anyway, so many things to see and do there in Cebu. Hope you enjoy the place.
15:50 - Boiler Room was a double entendre for you, lol. 🚢

I am filipino and this service isnt even cutting it. Especially with the A.C! I would go beserk lol. You are very polite and nice to everybody. The food looks odd, like it came from a carinderia, not from a cruise. The receptionist doesn't even know how to properly communicate like a trained service crew professional. I can see that you are trying your best to be positive, but with a little splash of sarcasm here and there haha. This kind of positivity is admirable and I truly appreciate that you still see the good in your trip because other than those blunders, filipinoes are generally good people. 😊

This ship really looks like a luxury ship as compared to the passenger ships we used to take from our island to Manila; the voyage though was reminiscent of my grade schooldays in the Philippines on rundown ships that took 3days to reach Manila ; your suite is really aptly described as luxurious because it is spacious and clean ; the food still seemed familiar(routine) but then this voyage is done in bigger luxury ships(as described) than what we had before; enjoy the Philippines and Good luck to your adventurous spirit !!!!

Good to see that ferries of Phippines were now improving.. Cokaliong ang TransAsia have new ferries too. So clean and refreshing while travelling. Though some of their old ferries are still functioning.

This blog really got me emotional since it reminded me when me, my sister and two younger brothers made the journey to America back in 1971., we traveled aboard the ship MV Cebu City heading to Manila to catch our journey to the states. I was only 11 years old then., it was bittersweet leaving the Philippines. Just a tip here, the taxis in Cebu are regulated and you can report them if they try to con you., just make sure that you watch them turn that meter on when as soon as you are moving., believe it or not my brother and me were conned into paying for a lot more just last month when I went to visit my father who lives in Cebu because we didn't pay attention to the driver turning on the meter. The fares there are absolutely cheap compared to the states., we were averaging about 150 pesos for roughly a 10 mile distance.
