I am over 70 and no longer remember about adverbs, adjectives, participles etc, in my native English ( I wish I had had someone like you for a teacher). I also could not get my head around the complexity of the French verb groups until I found you Alexa. You are an amazing natural born teacher. I am relearning about English grammar alongside French. I can speak (albeit with a lot of grammatical errors which I was ignorant of), and understand French fairly well having lived in French speaking areas but only recently decided to read and write it, a totally, totally different ball game!
