Great list. I might be biased, but I think you showcased the cutest tegu in the whole world on this one! My list would be Boelan's Python, Blood Python, Diamond Python, All the frogs, and a Reticulated Python... hmmm that's a lot of pythons. I think I just found out I'm a 'python person'. How 'bout that, eh?

I personally think more of dream enclosures rather than animals, I really want to make a paludarium. They are just so versatile

The B&W Tegu was on my bucket list for the longest time. 🥰 But I'm realizing that for me, snakes are way easier for me to take care of than lizards and geckos. I guess my dream reptile right now would be some kind of bigger (but not too big) snake like the dumerils boa or even a bull snake (snake discovery got me hooked on bulls lol).

I love how you said it's nice outside in Texas. It's more like a humidifier test facility in hell. Luckily, we have lots of lakes and rivers to cool down in, assuming that they're not dried up because we're in a drought. But it is beautiful here and we are very proud of our great state.

We are getting our Australian Water Dragon pair in a couple of weeks! I'll start the build tomorrow and once completed they'll be coming home. They are awesome semi-aquatic reptiles, so there will be an aquarium section between the two main enclosures. Basically building three: 5×2×4 foot. It will be male / aquarium area /female. They will be separated by sliding doors that can be sectioned off as needed. Sounds easy...lol.
Oh yeah Dart Frogs are awesome but then again, I'm biased. Thanks for including them.

I'm currently working on getting a frilled dragon (NG). I know this sounds crazy and stupid but it's going to be my first reptile pet ever. I've done an *EXTENSIVE* amount of research on them, I've studied a lot so far from their behavior to the illnesses they can catch. I have experience with bugs and mantises (obviously different from a reptile) which has taught me a lot about socialization, terrariums, temperature and food management, etc. I've already invested $1000 into its enclosure and I'm not even half way done. In a few months I will be starting on a dubia roach colony (1:5) so the frilled dragon has food whenever I decide to buy it which is in like 8-12 months (Obviously it'll eat more than just dubia roaches, they're more so there as a reliable source of food rather than the entirety of its diet). I will continue to do extensive research and prepare its enclosure, monitoring its temperature months prior to receiving the dragon, so that when it arrives everything is set up and perfect. I don't think this should be a beginner reptile because it's somewhat difficult to take care of. BUT, I am spending almost an entire year researching the frilled dragon and any insects it may eat. No this isn't easy, but I am so passionate and interested in frilled dragons! Other people see what I'm doing as a lot of work, but to me it's genuinely fun and entertaining to learn more about these guys. AGAIN, I do not suggest this as a first reptile, no one really does, but I am going above and beyond to learn about this reptile as well as the hobby itself to ensure that I do my part as the owner and caretaker.

Considering I can’t keep anything not native, my future reptiles I’d love to keep are probably a shingleback and a legless lizard. They are just so different and interesting to look at.

Gila Monster for sure. I love the juxtaposition of a little, chill lizard that packs a serious wallop with there bite and venom. They’re fascinating

Hey, Adam. Great video as usual! I was wondering if you'd consider making a video about coping with the loss of a pet? This week I found out my pet hedgehog has cancer and not long left, and my dog (who is only 3) is going blind. I'm heartbroken and really struggling to cope at the moment. Any suggestions on how to not feel so bad all the time would be nice. I'm feeling so overwhelmed and like I can't help my pets (which are more like family to me). I'm doing all I can to make them comfortable and happy but it doesn't feel like it's enough.
Sorry to dump this below a video.

Hi Adam, from Milton Ontario here. I'm getting a Brazilian rainbow boa this next Wednesday. Male from Dec 2020. I got a 4×2x18 inches tall PVC enclosure from cornels world. It has a divider in the middle since the snake is so young. I'll definitely share some vids in the future

An Argentine tegu is definitely my one-day reptile! I need to wait until I can dedicate an entire spare room in my house to it

My bucket list is as follows,
- hognose snake
- garder snakes ( because they can cohab)
- a sulcata tortoise
- a box turtle
- a leopard gecko
- soft shell turtle
I can’t get any snakes until I move out since my mom is terrified of them, and I’ve kinda started to run out of space to add any more at the moment. So these are my dream reptiles.
