‘Freetrade’ is the gateway drug to ‘Trading 212’

The mobile app is completely different to the web interface. Mobile app is more like an investment portfolio app similar to Freetrade (but better) lol just to be like all those other comments you received at the start of the video. They are also launching autoinvest and investment pies which are currently in beta testing.

This video is brilliant. I was planning to do a review on T212 as well but there is no way I can top this haha. Honestly, I am starting to warm to it much more lately, and I think I'll open an ISA with them.

I migrated my ISA over to Trading 212 from Freetrade... All £30k+ of it lol! The stock universes on Trading 212 is just hard to beat right now :D

Used them for over a year now, only problem I have is when the market has big moves it’s like the app won’t let u log in for few mins duno if this is the same with every platform but I guess it’s so they can buy they’re shares before they sell them to us . great video again 2020 been a better year then we thought aye 📈🕺

Was thinking of checking out T212, but really happy with Freetrade atm. I’m thinking once Robin Hood finally does land in the UK, I’ll compare them all then and make a final decision. But great video as always bro.

As ever such a great video, love your style, insightful, real and dam funny! The reason I went with Freetrade rather than 212 was reading some dodgy details about the company behind it. App looks good though.

I use Degiro, Freetrade & 212. Personally I think 212 is the best of them all. Their app is top draw while the website is lacking.

212 gives loads of information and ratios too.

Going forward ill be using 212 more as they have a wider range and the free isa savibg you 36quid a year is a bonus too.

Trading 212 app is much like Freetrade and completely different from the online desktop website. They also offer Pie and auto-invest features similar to what would be found within M1 Finance over the water. However these features are available to everyone but in Beta stage which means u need to sign up for them to be added to your account

Sounds real easy to sign up! I looked at the 212 website in the past and I felt they needed copies of bank statement, drivers license, selfie and all sorts to sign up. I thought that was a bit too much personal info to give!

I’m also a FT investor and shareholder but can’t say I’ve been happy with management attitude towards customers recently over the whole fractionals v whole shares issue. To pretty much say those who prefer whole shares are wrong, isn’t a good business decision imo. As a result I’ve opened this year’s ISA with T212 who simply offer either option. Rather than piss off a portion of their customer base, can’t see why FT couldn’t have just listened to what their customers were telling them and done the same..?

I prefer Freetrade, but went with T212 because ISA was free. Freetrade seems to have more funds and ETFs and the ETFs are all in sterling which I prefer.
