Well now I know when I see these floating around near the shore to get them. Although cheaper than other pieces of tackle free is better than cheap.

Man, I’m so dumb . I have never fished a spring bobber as a slip float. (SMH) duh. Well now I know and Knowing is half the battle .GO JOE! 🇺🇸✌🏻🎣

ohh ok i thought you were actually gonna show us how to make that but i already know they have this double function design float on the market, problem is i can't find them at most shops and you most likely have to order them and it gets expensive so i hacked my own and made a fixed thill bobber or any other spring loaded floater able to convert into a slip floater as well, i will make a vid on it soon

Kick ass channel guys! Thanks for the sub! I returned the favor. Hit me up if you are ever in North Dakota. I would love to get some aerial footage for you!

Thanks foe the video. Can you add a link to that ? I looked on thills website for what looked like your model. The thill I have has no option for a sliding conversion. The ones I own you have to pull down the spring and set the line into a notch. It won’t slide. Thanks

Thill is by far the best bobber. Other balsa bobbers just dont cut it.

I've had these bobber come off my line when in fixed mode. The springs are weak.
