I'm happy to say that I've been a user and advocate for the framework since the beginning. I'd love to show you the ropes if you're willing! Together, we'll review each piece of the framework, and wrap up by building a Job Board platform where users can post and apply to job listings. Ready to hit the road?

I started with Laravel when my daughter was born, 11 years ago, I remember because I was watching your tutorials in my ipad while waiting in the hospital. It makes it easy to remember when I started because I just link it to her age.

I learn from this guy since 2012, (envato days), trust me, he's the one to learn from.

I love that we are beginning to have a lot of "beginner" content to showcase the power of Laravel. Laravel 11 also had some changes that show love for beginners. Javascript fatigue is pushing many to explore other alternatives and Laravel is up there as one of the best alternatives.

It's been over a decade and a half since I first started following your work (remember CodeIgniter? ;)). I want to express my gratitude for the journey you've taken me on, which has led to numerous development opportunities over the years.

Anyway, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the current trends in web development, such as single-page applications (SPAs), frontend frameworks, backend JavaScript, server-side rendering (SSR), and so on.

Coming from vanilla PHP, thank you for providing these series.
I've managed to create a project using composer, for some reason, XAMPP always interferes with Herd, but everything works exactly as shown in the video (coding wise) will see if i can fix this since I'll always return to my pure PHP projects, but for now, i will enjoy your tutorial.

Please don't cut this series off after a few episodes and make us pay for the rest. Some of us live in poor countries and coding is our way out and we can't afford to pay (Here the average monthly salary is 250 USD.).

How do I disable Valet to replace it with Herd? Unfortunately I installed it with Valet running and even if I stop it, Herd doesn't work properly.

I really want to use herd because I have been struggling to setup Xampp to work with this laravel project I bought.
Herd won't startup for me though. I wonder if its becasue I setup Xampp first and it has something to do with file paths. I reinstalled it a few times, rebooted, you name it

I'm really excited about this learning opportunity. This is empowerment, and I'm so expectant how this knowledge will cause a shift for me. Three questions, however:
1. Can I join this course without really knowing PHP?
2. If not, how much PHP should I learn for me to continue with this course? and
3. Is this something I can learn concurrently?

I already have xaamp and the is other stuff running. Would it be beneficial to switch to Herd? I'm on windows

I prefer xampp with mod-rewrite. Herd seems to be not working to access from adjacent PC. Tried with nginx settings etc, but, not working.
