Why do journalists ask details about our military presence and readiness? We give away our options if details are given.

Our government is so pathetic. I'm sure they're more worried about figuring out their pronouns.

Dumping weaponry on Ukraine on tax payer dime is an excellent idea, just like it was Afghanistan, Syria and Libya.

Yes, finally John Kirby is talking again. Military updates for the United States should be mandatory for us to hear five days a week.

A Ukrainian joke:
-Why is our army attacking Donbass?
-Because the Russian army invaded there.
-Why is our army not attacking Crimea?
-Because the Russian army is really there.

What ever happened to our so called government having to vote on weather or not to engage in a war?

Russia has a genuine case, west must acknowledge and sort it out rather than flexing there muscles,
If situation continues so, Russia will strengthen its alliance with china, Iran, north korea, pakistan and syria

If russia take Ukraine, then china can take Taiwan, North korea can take south, pakistan can take Kashmir, Iran can take over middle east, syria can retake Golan

This is serious disaster, west must stop their arrogance against russia, and provide assurance that Nato will not expand any further and should stay away from deploying dangerous weapons from russian borders

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain does not have a high opinion of Pentagon press secretary Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby. Speaking with North Carolina conservative talk radio last week, McCain said Kirby was an "idiot."

We're sending a few thousand troops versus supposedly hundreds of thousands on the Russian border? They're treating this like the Taliban in Afghanistan. This is Russia you're dealing with, a nuclear power. This is utter stupidity that can only end in embarrassment.

We need some "back channel" action like there was in Oct 1962 to let the Russians "save face" and withdraw

I can see the fear in this man’s eyes and I can hear it in his voice. Look, you can’t pretend your in the Cold War containment philosophy anymore. You talk as though “our Allie’s” are feeling cozy with U.S. after the last administration thumbed his nose at Europe. Which brings me to the next topic, the obvious split in U.S. politics where you have Tucker Carlson siding with Putin. Is it possible that the factions in America, including some military and intelligence personnel, see Europe as the central “hive” of the shadow government that runs the world? That together with Russia, they all want to crush progressive liberalism and all its tentacles, throughout the globe? I’m concerned that Russia has positioned its military as a precautionary measure. In the event of a civil war breaking out in America, the Russians are being defensive in case a rogue element tries to maintain the cabal in a last-ditch effort. Covid didn’t work to subdue the masses, a World War might. Note: not my personal beliefs but judging how the last 6 years have panned out, I hope I’m wrong. Watching the last President bow to Putin in Helsinki raised my eyebrows.
