Action Aid for Animals Fundraiser Event 2014

It used to be in a country far far away
Dogs and Cats they did not play
Nor for most they know not of forever
homes
No one to love them, forgotten and
alone

Abandoned, abused they ran in fear
Of the humans that do reside here
For most recieve a kick, a slap
something thrown at them, or wood
across there backs

From Starvation and the cold they
suffer
Chased from doorways and homes
when they are just seeking shelter

Puppies and Kittens, adults and old
timers too
Suffer the abuse of being born in a
country they did not choose

Once only the pain and starvation was
their future
No hope, no happiness, a living hell to
endure

But now there are people that have
seen the strays plight
That together they stand
Together they fight

These people in numbers they may be
small
But together they are greater and
bringing postive change for all

Now the strays of Croatia are not alone
There is hope where before there was
simply none

Two different Cultures, Two different
lands
Across the miles they join hands

Working together, to bring forth a new
dawn
For the country of Croatia, for the
strays
and for all....
